Six heavenly artifacts, or orbs, were brought to Korea at the beginning of time. Each orb gives the land power. There was a time when the land was peaceful and the artifacts were safe among the people.
Until Kud, the dark god, captured the Red Phoenix orb for himself. The wielder of this artifact is gifted with great power when engulfed in anger.
Thrilled with this newfound control, Kud began to seek the other orbs. For this reason, the Guardians of Shinshi were formed: to search for the orbs and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.

The Six Heavenly Artifacts (Orbs of Korea)
Blue Dragon orb- Blue in color. It was discovered by Jae Hwa Lee after she defeated Haemosu. The wielder of this artifact can create ice-fire. Returned to the Heavenly Chest.
Chollima’s orb- Jade in color. Known for giving its wielder the power of flight. Returned to the Heavenly Chest.
Red Phoenix orb- Crimson in color. Owned by Kud. The wielder of this artifact is gifted with great power when engulfed in anger.
Black Turtle orb- Opal in color. The wielder of this artifact can stop time. The last written record of it was during the first century. Some believe it has been lost forever.
White Tiger orb- Shimmers like a star. The wielder of this artifact can seek out objects.
Samjoko orb- Amber in color. The wielder of this artifact can transport to different locations. Returned to the Heavenly Chest.
