Marc Grayson Age: 16 Height: 5'9 Born: Seoul, Korea Favorite food: Indian Skills: Fencing, research, language Faults: Overly protective, easily consumed Marc Grayson was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea, but traveled extensively throughout his life due to his parent's archeological research. His parents are religious professors at Yonsei University and live in Seongbuk-dong. They come from a family of inventors and archeologists and have high expectations for him.	Jae Hwa Lee Age: 16 Height: 5'4 Born: Los Angeles, CA Favorite food: Kimbop Skills: Archery, Tae Kwon Do Faults: impulsive, easily-angered Jae Hwa is the main character of the Gilded series. She was born and grew up in Los Angeles, California. At sixteen, her dad got transferred to Seoul, South Korea for his job. She doesn't have many friends, but the ones she has, she'll do anything for them. It's through her determination that she's able to overcome impossible odds.	Lily Sweetman Age: 16 Height: 5'3 Born: Detroit, Michigan Lily is Jae's and Michelle's close friend. Her parents were transferred from Michigan to Korea due to her dad's job working for Daewoo Motors (GM in Korea). She has three younger sisters.
Michelle Myong Age: 16 Height: 5'6 Born: Detroit, Michigan Favorite food: salad Skills: organization, knowledgeable Faults: undaunted determination, OCD Michelle is Jae Hwa's best friend. She was born and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Like Jae, she also transferred to Seoul. Michelle's mom is a traveling journalist. She speaks multiple languages and is very high powered. Her dad is a business man for Central Bank of Korea. Michelle doesn't see much of her parents because they are very busy.	Kumar Singh Age: 16 Height: 5'10 Born: Delhi, India Kumar is smart and Ivy League bound. He loves science and asking ‘what if’ questions. At times he becomes consumed with projects and the need to prove himself. He's well-liked, but sometimes he worries everyone only likes him for his cool ideas. He's waiting to be given a chance to prove himself to his family and friends.	Jung Oh Age: 19 Height: 6'1 Born: Seoul, Korea Favorite food: Bulgogi Jung is a powerful and dedicated Guardian of Shinshi. He is well-trained and focused, and doesn't take his tasks lightly. Like Jae, he will protect his friends and family at all costs, but his inability to forgive is often his downfall. For Jung there is no gray, only black and white, because rules are meant to be followed.
Kang-dae Age: 18 Born: Seoul, Korea Height: 6'0 Favorite food: Kalbi, Korean barbeque Kang-dae is the mysterious and suave Guardian. He's a hard worker and good at nearly everything he does But he’ll also do anything to get what he wants, even to the point of lying and cheating. He is respected by others, they are wary because they don’t trust him due to the secrets he keeps.
